FORTHCOMING EVENTS: will be held at the Gateacre Institute, Grange Lane, at 7.15 pm on (provisionally) the following dates: Wednesday 8th February 2012 Wednesday 14th March Wednesday 11th April Wednesday 16th May (A.G.M.) A Gateacre Village Clean-up in preparation for Gateacre in Bloom 2012 will take place on (provisionally) Saturday 11th February 10 am-12.30 pm. Phone 0151 428 3044 for confirmation/details. A fundraising Quiz Night will take place at the Institute on (provisionally) Friday 24th March 2012 at 7.30 pm (doors open 7 pm). Raffle - Buffet Supper - Payment on the door £5 per person ALL INTERESTED RESIDENTS OF GATEACRE ARE INVITED TO ATTEND. You can see what the Friends have achieved in the GATEACRE IN BLOOM 2009, 2008 AND 2007 PORTFOLIOS. In 2009 Gateacre was voted BEST SMALL VILLAGE IN THE NORTH WEST by the North West in Bloom judges.
